Here is a timeline of events we put together for you guys. Hopefully, we can do most of the things on here and you guys have a great time. The three main events are already set (Broadway Show, Bronx Zoo, and a Yankees Game). Thanks for visiting us!

* Most of the times listed on here are makeshift and can be adjusted to accommodate.

  • The Arrival

    Welcome back! DETAILS: JFK | Terminal 8 | AA Flight #66

  • Drop Off Luggage

    Chill for a bit. Maybe eat something. Then head out to purchase MTA cards from the machines at Sterling St Station.

  • Brooklyn Bridge

    This is one of those things you can check of your list. Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan. ¡Cuidado! There will be many people and cyclists on the bridge.

  • Times Square

    Visit Times Square and hang around here until Mar gets out of work. If you want to shop we can go to 14 St.

  • Dinner!

    Mar gets out at 8PM. Dinner venue TBD.

  • Top of the Rock

    Visit the Rockefeller Center and take in the city from the TOP OF THE ROCK! This is can happen at any point during your stay but it might be less crowded during the week.

    Time to get some rest for the day ahead.

Thursday, July 2nd

  • Breakfast!

    It's museum day! Wear your comfortable shoes.

    Explore the park. Hang out for a bit. Check the link to see if there is anything you guys want to see.

    Head back to get ready for dinner and the rest of the evening.

  • Broadway Show

    Matilda. Time for music, singing and dancing all set to elaborate stage designs. Show starts at 7PM. We should get there 30 minutes before.

Friday, July 3rd

  • Breakfast!

    Eat some breakfast and get ready for the Bronx Zoo and Yankees game.

  • The Bronx Zoo

    Time to see the little penguins! Should look to spend 2-4 hours traversing the zoo. It's 256 acres of habitats and exhibits. Travel time from the apt to zoo: 1 hr 13min. Take the Q to Times Square 42 St and transfer to the 2 heading towards Wakefield. Check out the animals at the link below.

    Lunch with the animals. Venue TBD.

    Lions, Tigers, and Bears. Oh Myyyyy!

  • Yankees Game

    Baseball in the Bronx. New York Yankees take on the Tampa Bay Rays. Grab a hot dog and beer. Enjoy the game. Need to be at the stadium a bit earlier to get the tickets from the box office. Game starts at 7:05 PM.

  • Back to the Apt

    Get ready for a long train ride back home. Maybe stop to get something to eat?

Saturday, July 4th

  • Breakfast!

    It's time to eat and get ready for another day in the city. It's the 4th of July and it's sure to be hot and humid. We should have some time to spend around the neighborhood. We can check out Prospect Park in the morning for a nice walk with the weens.

  • Prospect Park

    Go for a run/walk through the crown jewel of Brooklyn, go skating at the rink or kayak on the lake. It's the only reason we like this area. Walk with the dogs and get some sun. Maybe we can check out the Brooklyn Museum.

  • July 4th Show

    Experience the 4th NYC style. Fireworks start at 9:30 but we need to find a spot around 7:30ish.
